What data we process

We do not ask for special categories of data. Please do not include them in your messages.

• Contact form: name, email address, company (optional), the areas of interest you select and the message you write to us.
• Email and WhatsApp: the data you include when you contact us through these channels.
• Clients and suppliers: professional contact details needed to manage the business relationship.

Purposes and legal basis

We do not send marketing communications without your consent, nor do we make automated decisions or create profiles using your data.

• Responding to your enquiry or request for information: the consent you give by submitting the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and the application of pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Providing and invoicing the services you have contracted: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
• Measuring use of the website in aggregate with Google Analytics 4: your consent in the cookie notice (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

How long we keep it

Enquiry data is kept for as long as necessary to deal with it and, if no business relationship begins, deleted after 12 months at most. Client data is kept for as long as the relationship lasts and, afterwards, for the periods required by tax and commercial law.

Recipients and data processors

We do not disclose your data to third parties unless legally required. To run the website and our contact channels, we rely on providers who act as data processors:

• Formspree, Inc. (USA), which receives contact form submissions.
• Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts and serves the website.
• Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4), only if you accept analytics cookies.
• Our email provider.
• WhatsApp (Meta), only if you choose to contact us through that channel; in that case, its own privacy policy also applies.

International transfers

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, the transfer is covered by a European Commission adequacy decision (such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or by standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to hola@sherlook.es or by post to the address given above, identifying yourself and stating the right you wish to exercise.

If you believe we have not dealt with your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) (www.aepd.es).

Security

We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk to prevent loss, misuse, alteration or unauthorised access to data. The website is always served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).

Cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) are small files or pieces of data that a website saves on your device.

We use technical storage, which is necessary for the website to work and exempt from consent, and Google Analytics 4 analytics cookies, which are only activated if you accept them in the cookie notice.

We load Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 only after you accept analytics. They let us see, in aggregate, how many people visit the website, where they come from and what content they view. We do not use them for advertising purposes.

How to manage them

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer of each page. If you withdraw analytics, we delete the _ga cookies and stop loading Google Analytics.

You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge…). If you block technical storage, the website will not remember your language or your choice.
